Half Man Half Biscuit was a rotten name for a band, wasn't it. :box:

Oasis. I always thought that was the most boring band. Oh sorry, I mean band name. :|

Adele. Worst name for a band. Overhyped too.

I always thought Half Man Half Bicuit was a classique name for a band.

The Farm, EMF and Inspiral Carpets. They were terrible band names. (And bands).*

^^

An abba-solutely terrible band name. At least they made up for it by being so flippingly awesome.

Here's some more shockers; Mott the Hoople, Mud, the Doobie Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I was once in a record shop, and some one recommended an album by 'Appendix Out', as I raised concerns, mostly because they were called Appendix out. Although to his credit he did point out I'd just bought a 7" single by a group called f*ck.

Groups with numbers aren't great, 'cause of when a member leaves.
So, maybe not rotten, but.....not well thought out.

5ive (twice now, they've reunited with four members)
Five Star (they're five again now woohoo but for a while they were down to 2. Also for google searches - not that they could foresee that in 1983 - it brings up lots of hotels and stuff).
911 (not great for google either)
Seven (not great for google)
V (not great for google)

Irish boyband OTT. Their first few singles here were released as Over the Top. I liked that, but then they changed it to O.T.T which sounds like tea with oats in it - Oaty Tea.
