When I got back from exercising the car, there was a plumber's van in my space, so I had to park in front of my neighbour's house, and go off to work. When I got home, the van had gone, but my neighbour had parked her second car in front of my house.

I hate it when my car's out of place :bawl:

Would you believe it took me till that Wednesday lunchtime to get my car back into place?

Anyhow, today I noticed there were a lot of empty parking spaces, which is unusual for a Sunday. Possibly lots of people had gone Christmas shopping. So I boldly took my car for a run, came back, and successfully parked it

So now I don't have to take it out again till after Christmas - and particularly I don't have to get up at 4.45 tomorrow to exercise it, as I usually do on a Monday :superbanana:

Will your prospective new house have its own space for your car?

That will be ITS NUMBER ONE REQUIRED FEATURE.

And unless it's got one, I sure as sugary won't be moving into it!

Good of you to remember that I planned to move. I wrote in my diary today that I hoped not to be in this position next Christmas, I half thought I'd posted that on here too, but no.

Yes and I always find your car and parking antics interesting, even if I don't have much to say about them at the time, so I'd wondered if having your very own parking would be a high priority!

I got home from work early at 2.30, and there were loads of spaces again, so I took my car for a sneaky drive round the block. It's only half a mile but I let the engine run on for 10 minutes, to keep the battery in tiptop condition.

I'm not taking the car out this week. I'll just warm it up today I think.

In the end I couldn't resist giving it another quick spin round the block.

I started my car up, and charge the batteries up a bit, and moved it a couple of feet so it dosn't like it's been abandoned.

This means I can now drink heavily for the rest of the day.

It's like we're street parking siblings!

This means I can now drink heavily for the rest of the day.

It's Thirsty Thursday today, but I don't plan to move the car again till Tuesday. I like those maths.

But doesn't that mean your parking space is open to unwanted vehicles? :scared:
