What's that in your mouth?

Because I know you like your snap

I was once making a stew to this recipe when the postman happened to call. He said 'That smells good, I'll be back about four o'clock if it's ready then.'

My stew brings all the postmen to my yard.

He didn't come back at four o'clock though.

Which was lucky because I'd already eaten one portion and frozen the rest.

Well, today's stew was flipping delicious. I let it bubble away for 4 hours before eating. The longer you let it cook the better the potatoes taste.

I had a fine tea of oven baked breaded haddock, chips, onion rings and a hash brown.

That pie was delicious.

I just had a quick snack for tea, the kind where you just take stuff out of the fridge and eat it standing up in the cicene, rather than sitting at the table.

It consisted of yogurt, chick peas and emmental, in that order.

I've just had a tin of vegetable ravioli with 5 sliced pork sausages mixed in. Very substantial for a cold day like today.

I had a splendid lunch today of chicken-ham-and-leek pie, chips and peas. Just the thing for a cold day.

A girl from Ecuador I was at art school with showed me how to make proper tortilla.

The secret is absolutely frightening amounts of olive oil.

Bl*nking tasty though.

:bookworm:

I see the kind of tortilla I like is a 'tortilla de patatas', whereas the ones they have in South America are the rolled-up flatbread kind.
